O’Hara and the New York School

Hi guys — this made me think of the New York School exercise we did at the beginning of the semester. I’m not sure if any of you have read much Frank O’Hara, but the poet Dan Chiasson wrote an excellent, excellent review in The New Yorker of the latest selection of O’Hara’s poems. (It’s more an essay about the world of Frank O’Hara than anything else though, so it’s great reading if you’re interested in learning more about his work.) I was eager to share it with folks that I know are excited about writing and writers — and so naturally I thought of all of you!
